This is an example of a workshop that I delivered via a webinar format in May 2018. Like with face-to-face workshops I deliver, I try to add engaging group activities in the online space to allow people to see what is possible in a well-designed webinar leveraging active learning strategies, as well as to practice the concepts I’m teaching. While with UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education, I trained all instructors who use webinar technology in their online courses to use these same strategies, and we received a lot of positive feedback from learners on this live webinar approach.
