I worked with a Dr. Kathleen Angkustsiri, a doctor who works with the UC Davis M.I.N.D. Institute, to create a 20-minute educational video for parents and physicians discussing the medical issues surrounding Chromosome 22q11.2 Deletion Syndrome. I worked with her to co-write the narrative script, filmed the interviews, and edited everything together, collaborating with Dr. Angkustsiri until we were happy with the result. In my work at UC Davis School of Medicine, I discovered that in spite of the video being around 15 years old, it’s still actively used to introduce medical school students to the syndrome.
