During my tenure as the Director of Acadmic Technology for Sacramento State, I invited several key people from the various teams I supervise to engage in a series of strategic planning meetings every few weeks to work on a strategic plan.

I engaged the team in several brainstorming activities, worked with them to define mission and vision statements we agreed upon, determined goals and objectives for the academic year, and then produced a final version of the plan that was approved by both the Associate CIO and CIO within CSUS IRT. We began implementing the plan in Summer 2019.
